Stephen Collins Fired From 'Ted 2' After Admitting to Child Molestation on Tape

Stephen Collins has reportedly been fired from Seth MacFarlane‘s upcoming film Ted 2, EW reports.

The 67-year-old actor – well known for playing the patriarch of the Camden family on 7th Heaven, was fired after a recording of him detailing his child molestation acts to his ex on tape surfaced.

It it not known what part Stephen was playing, or if it had been shot yet, but the studio did confirm he had been fired.

Police are currently investigating the audio and no charges have been filed yet.

Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried will star in Ted 2, which will hit theaters in late June of 2015.
