Amanda Bynes Accused of Shoplifting at Barney's in New York City

Amanda Bynes was just accused of shoplifting a $200 hat at Barneys New York City on Madison Avenue after she ran out of the store wearing the merchandise.

The 28-year-old former actress was grabbed by security as she tried to leave without paying for the item, TMZ reports. Eyewitnesses say she was “acting crazy” in the store, and the police were called, but security had already let her go.

Amanda told security that fans were chasing her through the store, so she put on the hat to cover her face and ran. The store made her sign a no-trespass agreement, which means she is not allowed to re-enter the store.
