Toni Garrn Kicks Off International Day of the Girl Child in Berlin

Toni Garrn flips a switch to launch the kick off event for International Day Of The Girl Child held at the Radio Tower Berlin on Wednesday (October 8) in Berlin, Germany.

“Spreading the word that girls worldwide need our help by turning the first tower pink today! Watch several more buildings internationally shine this light on Saturday and follow the movement! #BecauseIAmAGirl #Dayofthegirl2014 #Berlin #planinternational” the 22-year-old model tweeted that day.

The official Girl Child day lands on October 11 and is meant to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world.
