Rachel McAdams is serious and sophisticated in sunglasses as she gets into character while filming her new thriller Spotlight on Tuesday afternoon (October 14) in Toronto, Canada.

The 35-year-old actress was joined on set by her co-star Mark Ruffalo, who grabbed a cup of coffee and chatted up some crew members.

Spotlight is the true story of how the Boston Globe uncovered the massive scandal of child molestation and cover-up within the local Catholic Archdiocese, shaking the entire Catholic Church to its core.
