Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova Glam Up in Singapore with Tennis' Best Ladies
The two tennis stars were joined by Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark, Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland, Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic, Ana Ivanovic of Serbia, Eugenie Bouchard of Canada, and Simona Halep of Romania.
The appearance happened right before Russian Tennis Federation president Shamil Tarpischev was banned by the WTA Tour for the next year and fined $25,000 for questioning Serena and Venus Williams‘ gender.
Shamil reportedly referred to the superstar players as the “Williams brothers” and said “it’s frightening when you look at them. But really you just need to play against the ball,” according to ESPN.
FYI: Maria is wearing a Self-Portrait dress.
