Jake Gyllenhaal Has to Feel Presumptuous Enough to Direct

Jake Gyllenhaal is handsome in a black suit while hitting the premiere of his latest film Nightcrawler held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Monday (October 27) in New York City.

The 33-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Renee Russo, Bill Paxton, Riz Ahmed, and director Dan Gilroy.

“I’ve always been fascinated by the abrasion between the actors and what’s in front of the camera, … and all the issues behind it, and how to balance the two. Also I was told by someone a few years ago to never stop being a student,” Jake recently shared to THR about directing in the future. “I’m searching … but I have yet to feel presumptuous enough.”
