Jake Gyllenhaal Reflects on Political Importance of 'Brokeback Mountain'
Jake Gyllenhaal is all smiles while attending AOL’s BUILD Speaker Series at AOL Studios on Monday (November 3) in New York City.
The 33-year-old actor was on hand to chat about his new film Nightcrawler, which tied for the top spot at the box office this past weekend!
On the same day, Jake reflected on his 2005 Oscar winning film Brokeback Mountain.
“It was very successful in many different ways. It gave me the idea that movies can be important, that they do have some sort of political value. It’s an honor to be a part of [that movie] and it was the universe bringing it my way,” Jake shared to Huffington Post.
FYI: Jake is wearing a rag & bone sweater.
