Keira Knightley Says Google Has Problem with Female Employees

Keira Knightley is pure class while attending the BAFTA New York Presents: In Conversation event at The Standard Highline on Tuesday (November 18) in New York City.

“I was completely bowled away by the fact that… we’re dealing with the 1940s, and, still, the center of the feminist argument today is, ‘a place at the table and equal pay.’ How depressing it is, it’s still the same,” the 29-year-old actress recently shared during a luncheon to promote her latest film The Imitation Game.

She added, “I met [Google founder Sergey Brin]. Only 20 percent of the employees at Google are women. And you go, ‘Yep, there’s a problem.’”

The next day, Keira wore a beanie and overalls while out and about in the Big Apple.

Yes, and in 2014, still it is the question whether women are also human beings or not, whether women can buy a lorry, can be engineers and other bullshits like this! Women are female human beings, they are belong to the human race, they also have the human gene pool, but there is brainwashing and gender based division of labour, and there are to many prostitutes, fashion monkies and stay-at-home housewives and Duggards with 220 children to still prove that women know and worth less than men.

    Well, she’s right.

  • 555 hoohoo

A lesbian ape from Faggo Island trying to preach to America about women is as laughable as it is sinisterly insane. Please stop trying, you diabolical loser POS.

    You are AWESOME Keira

If you want a good job, get a degree in engineering or computer science, we had many good woman in these positions in my last company before I retired. Don’t do what I did and get a worthless degree in Liberal Arts. I had to start from the ground and work my way up over 22 years.

  • Storm

Well, actually, there is quite a straightforward reason as to why there are fewer women in professions such as computer programming and it is simply that fewer women study such subjects, which is thought to be because the female brain is actually wired quite differently to the male and is not so inclined toward technical things. So really Keira, Emma Watson and other brainless celebs jumping on this feminism bandwagon need to shut up because they just come off sounding so completely ignorant. I don’t see them going on and on about why there are so few men in nursing and make-up artistry etc. Dopey hypocrites.

  • Storm

Rubbish. Go to a good college and major in computer science and get top grades and I can guarantee you will walk into a great job, probably even get favored over a man so the company appears pro – “equality”. Stop acting so persecuted and get out and see what the real world is actually like.

I am disappointed with Keira’s comments on Google’s female employees. She should stick to her flat chest ideas. Google hires people to deliver services and products, not to represent the demographics. Please review Larry Summer’s speech, yeah, the one that cost him the principal of Harvard University.

  • Soniaintown

Careful now, Larry Summers lost his Harvard University principla job by saying pretty much the same thing.

  • Storm

Yeah, my best friend was at Harvard during this time and said most of the student body were secretly on his side, as the facts really speak for themselves. I mean I am female but I can acknowledge the differences between men and women without turning it into some kind of “we are better than you” type of thing. Fact is, men tend to be stronger in some areas and women in others and the workplace is often reflective of this. Celebs are not a part of the real world nor do they have much education thus they can’t grasp these concepts.
