Darren Wilson Breaks Silence on Michael Brown Shooting: 'I Have a Clean Conscience' (Video)
Darren Wilson opens up and tells his story for the first time in this interview that aired on ABC News on Tuesday night (November 25) following a grand jury’s decision not to indict him for the shooting death of Michael Brown.
The Ferguson police officer sat down with George Stephanopoulos to discuss what happened that day, the protests that followed, and more. You can watch the full interview below.
“The reason I have a clean conscience is because I know I did my job right,” he said.
When asked if he felt remorse, Wilson said, “I’m sorry that their son lost his life. It wasn’t the intention of that day, but it’s what occurred that day. There’s nothing you can say that would make a parent feel better.”
