'Boyhood' Tops New York Film Critics Circle Awards 2014!

Boyhood is getting an early lead in the awards season by topping the 2014 New York Film Critics Circle Awards with three awards!

The movie won the awards for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress for Patricia Arquette, and Best Director for Richard Linklater.

Other stars that were victorious this year were Best Actor winner Timothy Spall for Mr. Turner and Best Actress winner Marion Cotillard for her films The Immigrant and Two Days, One Night.

Last year’s big winner at the NYFCC Awards was American Hustle, which won awards for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress for Jennifer Lawrence, and Best Screenplay. The film didn’t end up winning any Oscars.
