Here’s a figure to make you a little bit grumpy on this Monday morning – Tabatha Bundsesen, the woman who owns Grumpy Cat, has earned nearly $100 million in the past two years.

“She’s unstoppable,” the 28-year-old former waitress from Morristown, Arizona told Express. “What she’s achieved in such a short time is unimaginable and absolutely mind-blowing.

“I was able to quit my job as a waitress within days of her first appearance on social media and the phone simply hasn’t stopped ringing since,” Tabatha added.

Grumpy Cat, whose real name is Tartar Sauce, has a permanent scowl on her face due to feline dwarfism. “People take one look at her and fall in love, even if they actually think she’s pug ugly,” Tabatha said.

The Grumpy Cat empire has grown into books, merchandise, appearances, and even a holiday movie featuring Aubrey Plaza as the cat’s voice.
