How’d Kathy Bates get a nom….she’s the worst one on Freak Show, you can’t even tell what her accent is (unless the nom is supposed to be from last season’s coven)

  • bek

    julianne moore FTW

  • BBP

Congrats to Jen Aniston. Damn! haters must be mad as hell.

  • Marie

Give 20 awards to DiCaprio and there will be justice and fun!!

  • Marie

    Boring list!

  • Living in a box

See I told you so, Emma Stone is fight back for her throne. Best actress will be the battle between Julianne Moore and Rosamund Pike.

  • mrhojn

yes!!! for all The Affair nominations!!!

  • Arwena

    Jake Gyllenhaal! Yay!

  • LighterNote

Congrats on JA, wish the nominationwin may help her movie find a distributor.

  • Jenniferxox

No Walking Dead …Booooo who makes these list anyways. Boycott Golden Globes

  • PWat

hahaha – and lead actress in drama no less. Good game, Ms Aniston. Good game.

Scott Rudin must be furiously typing Amy Pascal an email right now – “Told ya!”

  • PWat

GG don’t need Jolie me thinks – they have Amy/ Tina, Clooney is coming and they are probs going to round out by having star presenters. Not bad!

  • tia maria

a win for julianne is going to be difficult as her votes will be split between best actress for still alice and best actress for a comedy

  • TeamBella76

She’s good in the movie and I really like her but she doesn’t deserve this ! I can name 10 other performances that were amazing.

  • TeamBella76

I like Jennifer and good for her but there were other actresses that were better this year let’s be honest !

  • Mimi Y

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Imitation Game. Great movie, fantastic performances, especially by lead Cumberbatch and supporting actress Knightley! Well-deserved!

  • SkinnyFatLovesJax

    Name them, please.

  • SkinnyFatLovesJax

poor loons…their patron saint was locked out. Tsk tsk LOVE IT!!!!

  • The Drunken Chatter

The Globes missed out on not nominating Angie. Imagine Angie, Brad, Aniston, Billy Bob, and Jon Voight all in one room together. That’s ratings gold right there.

  • Jo

    This kinda sucks

  • Beautylover

I saw Birdman and Emma stone’s acting was very weak if you don’t believer go see the clip where she’s facing her dad,it’s pretty sad that these awards shows are becoming a popularity contest ! #LAME

  • loop

LOL Jennifer Aniston, Embarrassing, Keep buying those noms girl

  • loop

They(She) even created a distribution company for that movie that nobody has seen outside Toronto.

  • FerCat

But it does look impressive at first glance, specially the released clips.

  • loop

lol this is sarcasm right. she got her own distribution company just for that.

  • loop

She bought it, just like Angie with “the tourist”

  • Wonderful Colin

Oh no Benedict again… There are many others actor better than him !

  • Kary

Happy for Jennifer Aniston and Julianne Moore… both with winning performances

  • elisa

-Interestelar got only one nomination and it was for the music, big fail for such an ambitious proyect

-i miss the nomination of ” lost stars” from the movie begin again in the best Original Song , at least is better that lourde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat,”

    - if wolf of wall street had been released this year, leonardo dicaprio would have won the Oscar that he deserve

    - finally no nominatios for the big bang theory and jim parsons

  • Charlie

I saw Birdman and I don’t think that she will win, but her performance in the movie was amazing and very natural. She will probably be nominated for the same role at The Academy Awards and this it isn’t the first nomination at Golden Globes, for her.

  • loop

Anne Doval ‘Mommy’, Marion Cotillard ‘Two days, one night’ ‘the immigrant’, tilda Swinton ‘only lovers left alive’ , Jenny slate ‘obvious child’ , mia wasikowska ‘tracks’ ‘maps to the stars’ , gugu mbatha-raw ‘Belle’ Agata Trzebuchowska ‘Ida’

  • BBP

And she still got nominated. How impressive for her.

  • loop

and good that you can see how it really works.

  • Jess

Very happy for Felicity Jones, and can’t wait to see what she wears to the show! Surprised Homeland didn’t get a nom for Best Drama, this season has been incredible.

  • Jess

It’s sad that Ellar Coltrane is not receiving any recognition this awards season for his work in Boyhood. He may be a total unknown, but he was very good in it.

  • AK

one nomination for interstellar !!! :) America has a problem with Nolan i guess

  • Cate

I only a care about the movie nominations. Particularly happy to see Redmayne, Chastain and The Grand Budapest Hotel nominations. Disappointed by some of the snubs especially no Princess Kaguya or Timothy Spall but overall the Globes seem to be making better nominations over the last few years since they decided to try to shake their poor rep.

  • missfb

i can’t agree more, that guy is overrated! I’m sorry but he’s everywear, it’s now umberrable! but gess what, weinstein produce the movie so……

  • Josie

    Where’s Tatiana Maslany?!?!

  • Jilli

Would be nice if Jake wins, but I doubt it will happen.

  • Johanna Rena

Jennifer Aniston is some fine Actress.. !!! Yay.!!!

  • janine

Jake Gyllenhaal was really the only good thing about Nightcrawler, so I’m glad he’s getting some recognition. Not really sure about an Oscar nod though. We will have to wait and see.

  • Violet

    Julianne over Aniston any day!

  • mary

Very, very happy for Matt Bomer,Mark Ruffalo and the entire cast of THE NORMAL HEART.

As much as I love House of Cards, I think Netflix shows should have their own category. Not everyone has access to Netflix, and I feel that only programs available on standard channels should be included in the TV shows categories, drama and comedy.
