North Korea Ordered the Sony Hack Attack, New Reports Claim

The United States government will be naming North Korea as the source of the hacking of Sony Pictures’ computers, according to CNN.

The news network says the U.S. investigators have determined that the hackers are indeed working for North Korea and an official announcement could be coming soon.

The New York Times is saying that the government is still trying to decide whether it will publicly accuse North Korea of a cyber terrorism attack. Also the government has to decide how much evidence should be revealed, as they don’t want to make it known how they penetrated North Korean computer networks to trace the hacking source.

It was announced today that Sony will be canceling the release of the movie The Interview, which depicts a fictional plot to assassinate the leader of North Korea.

First of all, we all saw North Korea try to launch a missile, right? I’ve thrown a paper plane farther. Secondly… this certainly sends a strong message. If you try to bully us, we’re pretty much going to give you whatever you want.
