This Texas Movie Theater Plans on Showing 'Team America: World Police' Now That 'The Interview' Has Been Pulled
Yesterday, Sony pulled the plug on The Interview‘s theatrical release after a terror threat emerged from a group of hackers – but one movie theater in Dallas, Texas is having none of it!
The Alamo Drafthouse movie theater will now be showing a free screening of 2004′s Team America: World Police, which centers largely around Kim Jong-un‘s father, Kim Jong-il. In the movie, a group of marionettes goes to fight Kim Jong-il, who ends up getting kicked off a balcony and killed by a helmet. It is also revealed that he is actually an alien cockroach.
In The Interview, James Franco and Seth Rogen‘s characters are tasked to kill Kim Jong-un.
