5 Times Idina Menzel Killed It Vocally During Live Performances

5 Times Idina Menzel Killed It Vocally During Live Performances

Idina Menzel was unjustly bashed by the media for her performance of “Let It Go” on New Year’s Eve when she struggled on the final high note of the song.

Unfortunately, no one seemed to pay attention to how amazing she sounded up until that moment or care that Idina was singing live in below freezing temperatures in front of a million people.

Idina gave a great response to her haters by posting a quote from an old interview in which she said “I am more than the notes I hit.”

Because we know Idina can hit all the right notes, we decided to compile five of her best live performances. If you want to see her belt it out live on stage, make sure to get tickets to see her on Broadway in If/Then through March 1 or at one of her concerts on tour this summer.

Check out our picks for five times Idina Menzel killed it vocally below…

I saw Idina in If/Then right before Christmas and she has got a powerhouse of a voice! I hate that she is getting so much flack for one missed note when 99% of the time her performances are spot on. Yet no one is complaining about Taylor Swift being pitchy throughout her entire performances…

  • Lin Brand

It was cold. Vocal chords do not like cold. They behave badly. Bad vocal chord, go to your room

  • Elizabeth Vidal

Seriously, and TS doesn’t even have a power house voice. So the cold doesn’t effect her. But then again she is always pitchy to me.

  • Shenanigans

this is phenomenal. No pop star can match this….half the time they don’t even sing live. they have help from a soundtrack or live singers as backup. Beyonce included. She sang live during the vanguard award and you can clearly hear the difference from her tours.
