Lol at lamey and her snark. Did huvsy decide to give her her paycheck after reading yesterday’s conversation on the thread? In lameys terms: Coincidence or conspiracy? LOL!

  • happy666

Why do they keep on calling him “Francis”. It sounds so silly!! Are they trying to convert to catholicism?

F*ck muslim terrorists and their terrorist attacks. I was going to go to Paris to see Unbroken this afternoon but I’ll go tomorrow instead.

    +++++++++++++++++++++

    Felinelilly -

Holy crap! After I saw your post when to CNN to find out what happened. That’s just wack. They killers are still on the lose. It doesn’t sound like they have any leads so if you go to Paris tomorrow be extra careful.

The CNN story says they shot up the office of Charlie Hebdo, the satirical magazine, so it almost sounds revenge motivated. Apparently they did an ISIS cartoon yesterday. And I also remember when their office was burned after they did the Muhammed cartoon a few years back. Considering how crazy the Muslim militants are they don’t even necessarily have to be involved in ISIS.

  • happy666

She probably inherited Angie’s brother height. I hope she stops growing up one day.

  • Bingo

Looks like just Angelina is going to meet him. She is in Rome with her Children. how wonderful. Her mother would be so darn proud because she was catholic.

  • Bingo

What did she say? I don’t visit her website anymore. I used to.

  • happy666

She has always put her mother before Brad. Good intelligent daughter.

  • changeling

Her mother was a devout Catholic and Angie was raised in a Catholic home.

“Jolie has acknowledged the importance of religion to many individuals (not her though) and pointed out that, for some, religion is very useful, saying:

I respect all religions. What I don’t respect is when people use religion to attack others. I’ve met people across the world, in the middle of nowhere, who are just trying to survive and all they have is religion. In some way it helps them, and I wouldn’t take it away from them. There are also people who use it to hate and kill. I don’t consider them religious people.”

  • wika

Lol just her usual snark at Brad and Angie about how everything they do is a ~conspiracy~

  • happy666

Religion isnt only god. Religion are morals and the base of education and integrity for many groups of people. All religions are kind of similar apart from the terrorist ones.

  • fyi
  • Bingo

Oh meeting the pope is a conspiracy? Lol

  • rosso tifosi

Well if she’s going to visit them I hope she uses her visit well & tackles them on the various issues & problems their teachings & actions have caused for so many around the world. As well as obviously the abuses & cover ups over the years, it’s an institution that has been corrupt for a very, very long time. Thankfully the current Pope seems to be somewhat trying to correct some of the problems & bringing the Church into more modern, open-minded times but still so much more to be done.

  • wika

Apparently everything they do that has faith related to it is a conspiracy because of Unbroken lol. Something about appealing to faith-based audiences. LOL.

    Thanks!

Well, shite. Looks like Us Lies Weakly may have actually gotten something right. According to the link the pix were taken in Rome…which explains why they were a no-show at the NBR last night. Not that I thought they’d be there…

PS – The girls look great. They’re so freaking tall now. Z’s b-day is tomorrow so it looks like she’s going to get a Roman holiday for her b-day.

  • Bingo

I think Brad will probably be at the globes.

  • Felinelilly

Hi PT, thank you. I decided not to go tomorrow, I’ll wait to see the news if there’s any progress in catching the killers and I’ll probably go on Friday.
Yes they attacked Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine/paper. It was meticulously planned, they went in exactly when the journalists were all gathered in the conference room. Twelve dead the last I heard, including a cop. It might have changed but I stopped watching for a while. You’re right it was revenge-motivated, both for an article and cartoon yesterday and some that had been published years ago. Last I heard the government wasn’t sure if they were lone wolves or directly affiliated with terrorists in Iraq or Syria but some pundits were saying that the attack coincided with France’s involvement in fighting ISIS in Iraq, when ISIS called for attacks on French people.

  • wika

Wonder if the rest of the family are already there/are coming over to celebrate her birthday. I also hope they’ll release pics of her/her and brad with the pope if they do meet him…

  • wika

I don’t see why he has to be there though?

LOL! Pope Angie. The haterz would shite a brick. Literally.

  • Bingo

I don’t either but it doesn’t look like he’s in Rome. He could be there to support Selma or he might be a presenter , but someone said Zahara will spend her b-day in Rome. I can’t imagine her dad would miss her day? But idk maybe they celebrated her day earlier.

  • wika

Lol I guess we’ll have to wait and see..

  • Cosmic Cow

It’s so creepy that you even know it’s that little girl’s birthday.

  • forrest gump

    no, in Sölden,austria instead.

I like the “Hollywood Royalty” acknowledgment. Boy, somebody will be plucking hair out of their Cabbage Patch dolls when they read that.

  • Passing Through

Judging by the amount luggage I see it looks like the whole family is there. There were 8 suitcases on the trolly – 1 per person. Either that or Z just couldn’t decide what to wear to meet the Pope. A girl’s gotta have options you know.

It’s emotionally exhausting just observing this level of hatred and barbarity even from afar.
The politicians and media can downplay these attacks all they like and talk about it only being ‘ a few radicals’. It’s not. These are coordinated, well planned and well executed (excuse the pun) acts of war. They will only increase and get bigger.

    >>>>>>>>>>

I know that politicians want to down play these attacks and call them the work of a few radicals because they don’t want this to escalate into all out retaliation by a majority against the muslim minorities. I understand it and support this. We who have grown up with muslims know that muslims have for ever so long lived peacefully with all sorts of people.

However, I know that I’ve reached a certain point when i want to see moderate muslims stand up to this sort of extremist behaviour. They actually have to because otherwise, I’m going to start questioning them and their values.

Muslims come to live in Australia because it’s a good place to live. Freedom of expression is one of my country’s most important values. We are all familiar with the saying: “I absolutely disagree with what you’ve said but I’ll defend unto death your right to say it.”

Obvously, you can’t slander or libel a person. And if you tell untruths about a religion, then it should be right that someone has the same right of expression to tell her version of the truth. But if you are just making fun of my religion or questioning aspects of it (was the virgin Mary really impregnated by immaculate conception or did she do the naughty thing?) or criticising some aspects of it (should pork be haram these days?),that should be fine, (even if as a devout Christian, the fundamental basis of Christ’s specialness and being the Son of God starts with his immaculate conception.)

I would however draw the line when the freedom of expression is used to incite/encourage violence against someone or a race or religious group. “We should Kill/Burn/Stab/Destroy – XYZ people” That’s where i would draw the line.

  • Passing Through

BTW – I’m pretty sure this means they won’t be at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Way to spoil my fun, Brad and Angie!

This is attempted intimidation, plain and simple. I know moderate muslims are afraid and angry. Angry because their religion and to some extent their homes are being hijacked from them. Afraid because they might also be targeted by both sides. Still, they must speak out. And they must not harbour or seek to avoid reporting someone they suspect of being violent.

Frankly, whatever satire Charlie Hebdo, I hope it’s now even more widely circulated. I’ll certainly look it up! Just like, I wouldn’t have bothered to go see the Interview, but I will definitely buy the DVD now when it comes out to Oz.

  • Bingo

It is a possibility that Brad will help with your fun. I think if all 8 family members are there the little girl twin would be right at Angie’s side like she always is.

I’m glad you decided to wait a few days. Are people able to move about the city or is on lockdown?

Also, if these people went directly to the conference room at the exact time of the meeting – it sounds like they had inside info. How else could they have known the entire staff would be gathered at that time? That’s just a straight up scary thought.
