Cosby Show's Malcolm-Jamal Warner Opens Up About 'Mentor' Bill Cosby's Rape Allegations

Former Cosby Show star Malcolm-Jamal Warner is opening up about the numerous Bill Cosby rape allegations.

“He’s one of my mentors, and he’s been very influential and played a big role in my life as a friend and mentor. Just as it’s painful to hear any woman talk about sexual assault, whether true or not, it’s just as painful to watch my friend and mentor go through this,” the 44-year-old actor and musician shared with Billboard.

“I can’t really speak on any of the allegations because obviously, I was not there. The Bill Cosby I know has been great to me and great for a lot of people. What he’s done for comedy and television has been legendary and history-making. What he’s done for the black community and education has been invaluable. That’s the Bill Cosby I know. I can’t speak on the other stuff,” Malcolm-Jamal added.

Malcolm-Jamal starred as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show from 1984-1992.

Many people with psychopathological disorders are capable of functioning at a high level.
This does not preclude them from carrying out with their impulses.

Why hasn’t Cosby been charged criminally at least once with all the witnesses that have come forward ? Why haven’t the police arrested him ?
Are they waiting until he’s too old and feeble to defend himself ?
As always, there are $incentives$ to make false rape allegations – especially in this case due to Cosby’s wealth. Google Brian Banks – one of tens of thousands of men, the psychopathological accuser defrauded $1.5 milion from taxpayers for a rape that never occured and she spent all of it while the real victim. Brian, was in a hard prison – his promising career and family destroyed. Perhaps obvious false rape accusers and serial lying supporters that incite hatred should go to a very hard prison for the same amount of time as the wrongly convicted.

Nice safe public statement to make.
…..and some of the folks that knew Ted Bundy thought he was real nice guy too.

There are many things about this that stink. Why is it that there was very little or nothing said until one woman Alleged it then all of a sudden they are climbing out of the woodwork. I am not saying that what he is accused of is okay by any means but I think that the reason that no charges have been laid as of yet is that most of these claims don’t really have much merit. I understand being young and scared when it happened but why wait until the man is nearly gone from this earth to start climbing all over him. If this continues it will carry on past his death and taint the lives of his children whom will have to deal with this forever. Constant legal battles for payouts from their fathers estate.
