There's a Suspect in the New England Patriots 'Deflategate' Scandal
There is reportedly a person of interest who could have been involved in the infamous “deflategate” scandal that took place in the 45-7 win from the Patriots vs. Colts AFC Championship game earlier this month.
The person in question is a New England Patriots locker-room attendant. The person took the balls from the official’s locker room into another room at the Stadium before bringing them back out to the field, which has prompted suspicion from a surveillance camera. The NFL is trying to determine if this person was involved, Fox Sports is reporting.
If you haven’t heard about the story, 11 of the 12 football game balls were found to be inflated significantly below the NFL’s requirements. Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, gave a press conference where he adamantly denied that he cheated.
