Kristen Stewart Becomes First American Actress Nominated for Cesar Awards in 30 Years

Kristen Stewart has just nabbed a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her work on Clouds of Sils Maria at the 2015 Cesar Awards!

The 24-year-old actress becomes the first American woman to be nominated at the French award show in 30 years. The last woman was opera singer Julia Migenes, who was nominated for the 1984 film adaptation of Carmen.

In Clouds of Sils Maria, Kristen plays an aging film star (Juliette Binoche)’s assistant.

Mark your calendars, the Cesar awards take place on Friday, February 20 in Paris.
