Michael Fassbender Will Play Steve Jobs in New Biopic

Michael Fassbender will officially be playing the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in a new film based on the life of the technology pioneer.

Also featured in the cast will be “Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Kate Winslet as former Macintosh marketing boss Joanna Hoffman, Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley, Katherine Waterston as Jobs’ ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan and Michael Stuhlbarg as one of the Mac’s original developers Andy Hertzfeld,” according to Deadline.

The movie is based on the Walter Isaacson best-selling biography and will be directed by Danny Boyle with a script by Aaron Sorkin.

Christian Bale had originally been attached to the role, but the deal fell through. Shooting has already begun on the movie in San Francisco and sightings of period cars from the early 1980s have been spotted in the Berkeley area.

Justice exists. I was highly disappointed, when Charlie Hunnam dropped 50SOG (I do not like the book, but the director is brilliant). But Michael playing Steve pretty much covers it. Yay.

Another Steve Jobs movie, like the Ashton Kutcher one wasn’t bad enough

This is old news. They’re already filming.

I can’t believe H’wood really thinks the world wants ANOTHER SJ movie. I don’t get it. Is Jobs really that fascinating?

What a shame. I loved the book and was anxious to see the movie but with that scumbag Seth Rogan in it I don’t think I will. A shameful excuse for an American.
