Idina Menzel Will Star in Ellen DeGeneres' New TV Pilot!

Idina Menzel is on a continuous roll with her career and now she will be starring in a new television pilot produced by Ellen DeGeneres!

The single-camera comedy series Happy Time is described as “a comedy about a woman (Menzel) in the public eye who’s ready to stop pretending she’s so damned happy all the time,” according to Deadline.

Idina will be seen by over a hundred million people this weekend when she performs the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. She is hot off the success of her movie Frozen, for which she has performed the Oscar-winning song “Let It Go” on some of the biggest stages possible. Her Tony-nominated run in the Broadway musical If/Then will be coming to a close on March 29 and then she will soon after head out on the road for a concert tour.
