Patrick Dempsey's Former 'Grey's Anatomy' Co-Star Katherine Heigl Comments On His 'Sad' Divorce

Patrick Dempsey tries to keep a low profile while taking a run along Zuma Beach on Sunday (February 1) in Malibu, Calif.

The 49-year-old actor was still wearing his wedding ring after his wife Jillian filed for divorce.

“I was really sad to hear that. I knew them both and they are really great people. I think it’s always hard to have to go through something like that so publicly,” Patrick‘s former Grey’s Anatomy co-star Katherine Heigl shared to Extra about their divorce.
