John Legend Boycotts Beverly Hills Hotel Party Over Brunei's Anti-Gay Laws

Chrissy Teigen shows off her sexy legs in a short dress while attending the Revolve Spring Campaign Launch on Thursday (February 5) in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old model was joined by her husband John Legend, who boycotted his own Los Angeles Confidential magazine cover party that night at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

“These policies, which among other things could permit women and LGBT Bruneians to be stoned to death, are heinous and certainly don’t represent John‘s values,” John‘s rep said in a statement about the hotel, which is owned by the Sultan of Brunei. “John does not, in any way, wish to further enrich the Sultan while he continues to enforce these brutal laws.”

FYI: Chrissy is wearing a NBD dress.

Who wants to go to Brunei anyway? Does he think this guy is actively involved in running the hotel, and the bar? Doubtful, it is probably just another investment for the owner. Go and have fun.
