Joan Rivers Wins Posthumous Grammy 2015 for Best Spoken Word Album

The late Joan Rivers has just won a 2015 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album!

The comedian’s album, Diary Of A Mad Diva, beat out James Franco‘s Actors Anonymous, Jimmy Carter‘s A Call to Action, John Waters‘ Carsick: John Waters Hitchhikes Across America, Elizabeth Warren‘s A Fighting Chance and Gloria Gaynor‘s We Will Survive: True Stories of Encouragement, Inspiration and the Power of Song.

Joan sadly passed away last September after complications from an in-patient procedure shrouded in controversy. Joan‘s daughter Melissa Rivers is currently at the 2015 Grammys with her son.
