    so good.

Amazing tribute special to an amazing man!

  • forrest gump

yes, this woman is a true shame to the black society of america!!

  • Hiiiiiiii :)

Yet she manages to have a large fan base including black people. Interesting

  • smmy33

Makes me laugh people say at least Beyonce has a good voice,
screaming out a song isn’t a good voice.

She all warbling and screeching, no actual singing.

@ … You forget wind machine .check

  • Jay

No hate when people do this. Riffs and runs and growling is singing. It’s a step up, it requires a lot of control. I really wonder what some of you would have thought of some of the greats like Tina, whose voice is very husky.

  • Melon

You should probably stop. That person probably doesnt even know what riffs or runs are. Beyonce is an outstanding singer, better than all of the other singers who performed during the event.

  • Jay

Please don’t use race to troll. Black society’ is thats even a thing.
Will Smith, Oprah & Beyonce. The joke is they are Black royalty, because they are so highly respected within the entertainment industry. But that’s the joke.
All I want to say is , hate on Beyonce, just don’t use Black people to do it.

  • DutchessOfCynicism

The Queen never fails to deliver nothing but excellence. A legendary performance for a legendary man.

Beyonce is so overrated. I just think? Okay, haven’t we seen all this before… She has like 8 more years to this. But then again that hasn’t stopped Madonna? :/

Not only does Beyonce exhibit superior vocal control and range, she’s one of the only performers today who use dynamics in their vocal performance. Her runs and growls are OUTSTANDING at best. All of the greats growl!

  • Jay A

Wow! I would love to show you my music collection. I know a good number of singers with outstanding runs. I think she does a good job, but she does not compare to these other singers.

  • Jay A

I agree! I was a huge D.C. fan at one point in time. Also, I was a fan of mostly Beyonce’s early years of her solo career. It’s so many greats out there, and a lot of people only give her credit. I never even play her CDs or DVDs, because the radio, TV and internet shows her constantly. On another note, I see you have my girl Aaliyah as your profile picture. I am such a fan of her! Now you make me want to listen to “It’s Whatever” and “Those Were the Days” from that album.

  • Issa Valle

Beyonce made that song trashy. SMH

  • Issa Valle

She has a mediocre voice, the media and her fans like to hype her up but she’s actually NOT ALL THAT.

  • ILO

Ohhh wow said the social media critic who has never struck a vocal cord in her life. If you don’t like something no one is forcing you don’t read it or don’t watch it. Undercover fans acting as haters to seem cool.

  • Jay

    How?

  • Jay

Thats what happens when you have a long career. Fans want you to do the same thing, but that doesn’t help you grow. People are already saying that about Ed Sheeran. But he wants to explore, show diversity, he’s done that so let him do something else. It’s still there for you to listen to. I was also and still am a DC fan, and an early Beyonce fan. But I like that she has had different era’s, with completely different sounds. By the end she’ll have quite the discography. She’s basically covered every topic. This self-titled era might not be your thing, but surprisingly for some it’s the first time they’ve put Beyonce on their playlist. I like that she still gives it her all. Like mentioned above she doesn’t have to anymore.
    Also EVERYONE loves Aaliyah :)

Jennifer Hudson and Tony Bennett killed it last night. And Stevie’s speech was pure magic.

  • http://www.memoriesbybryant.com/ Bryant Tyson

Yes! Let’s compare collections. I have very eccentric tastes. Being a musician myself, I listen to artists way back as far as Bessie Smith in the 1920s to scatters like Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Sammy Davis Jr. Jazz artists like Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday. I even have some opera singers in my collection like Maria Callas and Nicolai Gedda.

I suppose it comes down to opinion but Beyonce is very very talented.
