Julia Roberts' Mom, Betty Lou Bredemus, Passes Away at 80

Julia Roberts‘ mother Betty Lou Bredemus has died at the age of 80 in Los Angeles.

The former acting school teacher had been battling lung cancer and died early Thursday (February 19) in Los Angeles, People reports.

Betty Lou had four children Eric Roberts, 58, Julia, 47, Lisa Gillan, 49, and Nancy Motes, who passed away at 37 last year. Betty Lou also had grandchildren: Eric‘s daughter Emma Roberts, and Julia‘s kids Phinnaeus and Hazel, both 10, and Henry, 7.
