Ruth Wilson Reenacts 'Platoon' Death Scene Effortlessly - Watch Now!

Ruth Wilson flashes a big smile while making an appearance on Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (February 19) in New York City.

The 33-year-old English actress chatted about meeting Sylvester Stallone and recreating the death scene from the 1986 film Platoon, which she used to watch at eight years old.

Ruth recently opened up about how actresses are unfairly treated when filming sex scenes.

“I have a big concern about how women are treated in the industry generally and how they have to provide the titillation because penises can’t be seen on screen but breasts can. It’s assumed that women will get their breasts out, and have to get their breasts out, and I balk at that. It’s unnecessary and it’s unfair,” Ruth shared in The Edit.

She was stone cold sobering amazing in Luther. So, did he cross the bridge with the devil or what?

  • Penny Dreadful

    She’s rough to look at.

  • Penny Dreadful

I know this is shallow. I admit it upfront. But I find her really distracting. She’s unpleasant to look at — I don’t need actors to be perfect by any means, but she’s just awful to look at. And I thought she totally over-did it on Luther.

How can anyone know what ‘over-did it’ is like for a malignant narcissist?

I’ve seen her in period pieces where she was most delightful. And looks, aren’t everything for actors. Actually, their looks can be tool of sorts. I dare say casting got her the job, not her looks. One would need to be able be how she is with Luther, if you read me?

Also one of the reasons she developed into the malignant narcissist is by how she was treated by immature parents, despite their wealth and status, which actually is hotbed for abuse. She must have been abused by her parents by psychological, emotional, maybe even physical ways as one does not turn into a malignant narcissist and cold-blooded killer overnight. If wise they might dive into that if they bring back the series so we see how she became to be without pity, compassion and to be lofty, calculating and cunning rather than owning any ability to connect?
