Kanye West Cries Over Friend's Death in New Interview (Video)

Kanye West gets emotional during this interview with BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe on Thursday (February 26) in London, England.

The 37-year-old rapper had to take a moment to himself while speaking about the late Louise Wilson, a fashion design professor at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, who died last year.

“The last time I saw her we had dinner at Hakkasan, my favorite restaurant in London. I think she knew she was gonna pass, and she just wanted to give me some words of advice to move forward. She was asking me about my daughter. She was asking me about my wife,” Kanye said. “She said, ‘So many students, they don’t give it their all. As soon as they do something good at 2 years old, 3 years old, their parents clap.’ That’s what she said. She just looked at me and said, ‘Kanye, don’t clap.’”

He continued, “I didn’t know we were gonna lose her. She told me, she said, ‘Thank you for the times you came to performances. This has really meant a lot to me.’”

After coming back from a quick break, he said, “That’s never happened to me in an interview before.” Watch below:

I actually agree about the clapping. It creates a generation of children who grow into entitled adults who expect the world to tell them their sh*t smells likes roses, and also teaches them to hate anyone who doesn’t tell them their sh*t smells like roses.

    that is such bullshit.

Kanye, the kind of stunts and fake moments and soundbite-level child rearing advice. The professor would have been better off telling him not to breed.
