Zachary Quinto is sharing his thoughts on the sad news that the world has lost Leonard Nimoy, the actor who originated the role of Star Trek‘s Spock.

The 37-year-old actor played the role of Spock in the two recent movies directed by JJ Abrams and he is going to play the character in a third film as well.

“my heart is broken. i love you profoundly my dear friend. and i will miss you everyday. may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest,” Zachary wrote on his Instagram account. See the photo he shared below.
