Dakota Fanning Fibbed About Knowing How To Play Badminton During An Acting Audition

Dakota Fanning tries to stay warm in the cold weather while walking to the gym in New York City on Thursday morning (February 26).

Recently appearing on Watch What Happens Live, the 21-year-old actress played a little “Never Have I Ever” with host Andy Cohen and opened up about one little lie she told during a casting.

“I remember it like it was yesterday,” Dakota shared. “I had to do a commercial audition and they were like ‘she has to know how to play badminton’ and I was like six or seven-years-old.”

She added, “So we went out and got a badminton set and were practicing and then the casting director came out and was like ‘if you do not know how to play badminton you should not be here.’”

Dakota‘s younger sister Elle is also pictured below, wearing her school uniform out in Los Angeles.
