I think perfect she is a great talented actress, I hope looking forward to this movie !!
will soon be here to comment hater of mimimi
she is an actress and have to do their job!

  • hollywoodganstaa

Yes! Most talented young actress at the moment and steven is a great director, I can smell loads of awards!

  • Nada Nada Nada

Good to see her will finally be working with other great directors! She should’ve parted ways DOR long ago.

  • plez

She’s much older than her real age again. One of the most interesting parts of Addario life is being kidnapped in Libya in 2011. She was 38 at the time. She promised God if she got out she would start a family. She did have a baby soon after but kept on reporting.

I agree Lawrence is a good actress but I really don’t think she overacts when she tries to act older than her real age.

  • Cate

Glad to hear it isn’t a O. Russell project but I’ll wait to see if it actually happens. She’s signed on to so many interesting sounding projects over the last few years and they stay in development hell and she makes another DOR movie instead.

  • Maria

Sorry, but frankly, I am tired of seeing her attached to everything. It’s Jennifer Lawrence overload for me…….

  • Name

From what I’ve read, the book centers around the period immediately post-9/11, which means Addario was around 27. By the time Lawrence gets around to making this, she could be near or at that age.

  • cyclesn

Wait, is Jennifer Lawrence playing an adventurous, ballsy, colourful woman? No! Never!

  • cyclesn

I agree with you. I don’t know why her out of all the young and very talented actors out there. I happened to see True Grit and Enders Game recently. Hailee Steinfeld, however you spell her name, is ten times the actress JLaw is, as I see it. Many others out there who are better in my opinion.

  • cyclesn

He’s had his misses recently though. He’s a little sentimental for my taste.

  • Name

I agree, Steinfeld is amazing. But she’s young (18) and definitely too young for some of the more *mature* roles being thrown Lawrence’s way. Same with Saoirse Ronan (20), Dakota Fanning (20), Elle Fanning (16) and a few other actresses who’ve shown a lot of talent in their past roles.

  • cyclesn

Saoirse Ronan is particularly good, I agree.

  • Clara Tezolin

There can be nothing ever that can be better than jennifer lawrence on a movie screen…she is a fuckin force of nature , i have never seen anything like it ,,, and to combine that with the great steven speilberg, its got to be a dream come true… i hope the script is very good…

  • Clara Tezolin

is simple you are not required to to see the movie or is it?
you work every day, she also has to do his job!

  • TeamBella76

haha to all the haters ! GET USE TO SEEING HER EVERYWHERE !

  • Murray

When will peoplem realize it’s not about the actors actual age but the age they *look* like?
I almost wish actors ages weren’t revealed so they are only judged by the age they look, you know, the thing that actually matters.
Of course this only applies to 18+ actors of legal age.
Jennifer looks to be anything from mid to late/early thirties. She has a weird face like renee zellwegger.

  • hollywoodganstaa

Tough crap for you, she’s 24, she has like another 40 movies to do :)

  • mandyz

Yes there are other actresses better or on Jen’s level that haven’t seen the light of day yet. Hollywood doesn’t want you to know that though. She looks nothing like Addario, I feel like Hollywood wants to cast better looking actors than the actual heroes that deserve the recognition just to get bigger audiences and it just doesn’t feel genuine to me as a moviegoer, I don’t care if Jen has already proven to be a box office success. Surely they could’ve casted a great unknown Italian actress with a big nose, brown eyes, and olive skin but God forbid Hollywood starts crying if they don’t get the profits they want. I like Jen but I’d love to start seeing more diverse looking up and coming actresses get their big moment on screen too, they all deserve it just as much as Jen.

  • AMERICA

Its doubtful she will return to acting and the media business just for acting in a movie that will never, ever be made. Her career was over years ago when she decided to quit the biz. Laurence is over, PERIOD!!

  • Anastasia Vasilieva

She’s literally everywhere now. Even if some other actress can do it better.

  • Patrick Downing

Yes what do Steven Spielberg, Robert DeNiro, Patrick Stewart know? YOu could stop clicking on articles like this and no one is forcing you to watch her movies.

  • Patrick Downing

Sure you are an expert on talent.

  • hollywoodganstaa

Wtf are you talking about? She hasn’t quit acting?? She has like 10 projects at the moment.

  • hollywoodganstaa

Oh stop saying this stuff, please! She was by FAR the best part of
Silver Linings Playbook…and it was an incredible film. She had the least
screen time in American Hustle but stole the show every single time she was on
screen. Her scenes with Amy and Christian were incredible. It worked. Was she
young for the parts…yes…but she gave the needed performances…MANY type
cast parts are horrible and drag a film down.

  • PlayNice

I was just going to write something similar. I think we need a break from JL. She’s losing her appeal because she’s been so overused lately.

  • Denise

Here many expert i see…Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most talented actress under 30,if the directors want her in their movies, there is a reason..or not? Spielberg is stupid? O’Russell is stupid? Gary Ross is stupid? Tyldum is stupid? Susanne Bier is stupid? Are all stupid, right?! I’m agree..there are others good actresses like Emma Watson,Emma Stone etc. in fact they are working..Jennifer Lawrence is not the only who is working..but is the only with all this attention from the media! This is the difference…everyone is working; KStew is working,Stone is working,Watson is working and others many actresses…so,what is your problem?

  • Thereca

I agree with you.People are jealous of her fame

  • Thereca

I think you are the only one who wants a break from her

  • Dee

Heres the thing, some of you might be tired of seeing her in everything, (I personally dont see how shes in everything and everywhere…but ok) but truth is, she *is* an amazing actress, and also shes 24…this is pretty much the time where actresses her age get some of the best roles. So good for her. So I for one, am super excited for her! You go glen coco!

  • PlayNice

doesn’t look like I’m the only one.

  • Thereca

Do you think Spielberg is a fooL?He knows what´s he doing ,she´s the best>……

  • Thereca

    that´s right

  • Patrick Downing

Who’s we? Stop clicking on articles about her. She is not losing her appeal frrom looking at the box office numbers. Know nothings keep predicting her downfall. Steven Spileberg hired her. Not bloody likely she is leaving. You are out of luck.

  • Thereca

the script is extremely good Jen is the ideal actress to play it.It´s about a photojournalist who photographed several rebellions in Congo, Libia etc…to know the truth, she won the Pulitzer prize, so Jen will be perfect.

  • Thereca

    I agree with you

  • Thereca

    Are you crazy????

  • Thereca

good ….Agree with you. Those people that attack her are totally envious, they would like to have what she has, fame, beauty etc…

  • PlayNice

You’re totally over-reacting to my comment lol. I never said I don’t like her, I said I need a break from her. she’s everywhere. I mean good for her, I think she’s talented of course, but when you over-use any celebrity, they start to lose their appeal to some people. Calm down.

  • PlayNice

The best? I think that’s a bit much. To me the best actresses are Streep, Jessica Lange, Claire Danes, Bullock, Winslet, Blanchett, Emmy Rossum… But everyone has their opinion.

  • hakuna.mataaaata

yes butt she’s only 24 years old , don’t forget that

  • hakuna.mataaaata

she is an amazing actress for her age , for me she’s the best from this new generation

  • Patrick Downing

Not if you do good work, unlike Johnny Depp and Jeff Bridges lately. But if you need a break from her, then don’t click on these articles.
