NBC Cancels 'Allegiance,' Moves 'The Slap' Time Slot

NBC has just made a big change to its Thursday lineup – Allegiance has been canceled and The Slap will be moving time slots.

Allegiance has aired five low-rated episodes so far and its 10/9c time slot will be given to The Slap, which currently airs in the 8/7c time slot on Thursdays, according to TV Line.

Gavin Stenhouse starred in Allegiance as a rookie CIA analyst who doesn’t know that members of his family are part of a Russian sleeper cell.

Surprised Allegiance lasted as long as it did with overused plot and mediocre acting. As for The Slap, shuffling its time won’t make it any better.
