Lil Wayne Shooting Update: Police Confirm It's a Hoax
Reports of shots fired at Lil Wayne‘s Miami Beach mansion on Wednesday (March 11) was all a hoax.
Earlier in the day, police responded to a phone call that there was a shooter at the rapper’s residence. Four people had apparently already been injured and police responded immediately, though there were reports that Lil Wayne was not home at the time. Now, police have confirmed it was all fake.
“#UPDATE unfortunately this appears to be a “Swatting” call. No victims /no injuries /no subject at 94 LaGorce.” the Miami Beach Police Twitter account updated an hour ago.
