'X Factor' New Zealand Judges Natalia Kills & Willy Moon Fired For 'Completely Unacceptable' Comments

X Factor New Zealand judge Willy Moon and his wife Natalia Kills, who was sitting in as a guest judge, have been fired for their comments after contestant Joe Irvine took the stage in a recent performance.

“As an artist who respects creative integrity and intellectual property, I am disgusted with how much you have copied my husband. From the hair, to the suit, do you not have any value or respect for originality? You’re a laughing stock, it’s cheesy, it’s disgusting, I personally found it absolutely artistically atrocious,” the 28-year-old entertainer said to the contestant’s face. “I am embarrassed to be sitting here in your presence, having to even dignify you with an answer of my opinion.”

“To me it just seems a little bit cheap and absurd. It’s like Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing. It’s just a little bit creepy,” Willy added “I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everybody in the audience.” But the blood bath continued when Natalia chimed in once again.

“I’m going to say it. It’s disgusting. You make me sick. It’s absolutely disgusting. You have no identity. I can’t stand it. I’m ashamed to be here,” Natalia added.

“Last night on X Factor both Kills and Moon made comments that were completely unacceptable,” Mark Weldon, producer on the show, said in a statement. While the judges on X Factor are expected to provide critiques of the performances, we will not tolerate such destructive tirades from any of the judges.Contestants put their all into this competition and they should expect to receive feedback and criticism that is professional and constructive. We no longer have confidence that Kills and Moon are the right people to perform the role of X Factor judges and they will leave the show, effective immediately.”

What a mean bi tch. Why would you humiliate someone like that and just keep going and going and going. How freaking mean. Good they got fired.

  • UltimatePhillippe (Spain)

LOL, she was very hypocritical, the video of her husband “Yeah Yeah” is an exact copy of “Prisencolinensinainciusol” from Adriano Celentano and Claudia Mori, a very popular video from 1972.

  • DeathIsGreat

    ………who are these people?

  • JustThat

her husband’s name is Willy its a joke on its with this : ” I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everybody in the audience” does he mean (since the contestant is copying him) so does he mean those are his personal thoughts and has the desire to do that to the audience ?!

  • Teni Eliza

Since when did someone trademark that haircut and a suit? These people are delusional. Perhaps her husband copied Michael Buble, or Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake even. This is so beyond ridiculous and I’m glad they got fired for people stupid.

  • JustThat

while sitting and looking like copy of thousand others…

  • smmy33

Like her husband so original , shut the hell up stupid twat.

And where was the host , why didn’t he shut these two delusional people down.

How hard up is New Zealand for judges if the best they could get is these two from whatever rock they crawled out of.

  • xvlmxxx

    never heard of them.

  • xyz

2 nothings…. and too much ado about them

  • xyz

Look at them…. Spit on them, if these morons have any talent and can be called artists….

  • Dylan2

What a couple of delusional douche bags. How embarrassing for them.

  • Alexandra

I took one look at his face and he totally looks like butt-head

  • Michele V

God, what is wrong with that woman? She is like a walking parody.

  • Маргарита Бабовникова

but you didn’t see his performance and see that judge for first time. You just join the crowd. It’s worse. it looks like bullying to me.

if he’s more famous in NZ so it can be true that contestant copied his style. the hairdo is copied as I see. Style is not “suit”. there is a lot of different suits, Timberlake and Buble wear absolutely different suits. yes, haircut and a suit can be a trademark. plus you don’t see his singing style — they noticed it as copied too.

it’s worse to start discuss that they can’t have opinion, that you don’t know them (it’s don’t do you a favor as “clever” person who listened something beside top40, I live in Russia, don’t speak English, but I knew who they are. Hm) and that they are delusional.

They had absolutely right to make statements that they find contestant’s performance as unoriginal but not in that way.

    Misogynist ^

  • Маргарита Бабовникова

    Do you heard about tributes?

  • girl93

That’s the woman who always uses autotune in her songs? And she was a X factor judge? These shows are pathetic…

  • Islam Izak

who the fuck is Natalia Kills and why is she talking abt “Originality” when her “Career” is like a copy/paste of Lady Gaga’s… she even looks like a Gaga parody

  • kellyf

She should be more concerned with her husband looking like a poster for botched plastic surgery.

  • kellyf

I like how the guy on stage with him has the EXACT SAME haircut and suit, and yet she has no problem with that dude. And she doesn’t seem to mind that her husband has the same haircut as almost every other dude since that’s one of the most popular hairstyles for men right now, regardless of how ugly it is. If she thinks her husband is an original, then she’s just as big an egomaniac as she sounds in that clip.

  • Lisa

Wow that’s disgusting. I’m glad they got fired. The show should be about CONSTRUCTIVE criticsm.

  • niagirl

Did the X-Factor ever watch an interview with her. She’s was being her same obnoxious self.

  • Michele V

Yes, I’m a feminist who believes in all equality for ALL women, yet somehow I’m a misogynist because I have an (unfavorable) opinion of a woman who belitted a person on public television? And yes, her hubby is a cunt of equal measure. Oh wait, does that make me a misandrist now? Perhaps you should pick up a dictionary and stop crying sexism because that is more detrimental to feminism than it is helpful.

Shows built on Rude Commentary are no longer allowed to have Rude Commentary?

Don’t get me wrong, I feel that the judges were way over the top… BUT… whats with the outrage over show hosts doing the very thing that made the show popular in the first place?

Joan Rivers was the first to go over the line in “judging fashion with cruelty” and it launched an entire genre of Fashion Television and Simon Cowell did the same thing with Talent Competitions. People wouldn’t watch these shows if there wasn’t a chance for a meltdown.

But now in todays “Me” generation then suddenly rude comments have limits because “Everyone is equally beautiful and equally talented and everyone should win”? You can’t call out someone for wearing a giant and unflattering hairdo or say that someone trying to stand out from the crowd is failing to be unique?

Like it or not, these people are doing what they were hired to do.

  • Teni Eliza

I thought that too! It’s such a common look for guys right now. I just cannot believe how incredibly rude and degrading they were. And to then say the guy is going to murder people and wear faces… that’s not funny. I wish it would have taken sooner for someone to speak up and say how out of line they were.

  • Norman Dostal

kiwi famous, which means not famous at all…

  • Norman Dostal

    without the talent

  • Norman Dostal

we all saw the show-you’re rambling

  • Norman Dostal

    your English not so good

  • Norman Dostal

    no, dumdum-Michele is right

  • Norman Dostal

nope-not hired to be cruel–that’s why they were fired

  • lotfi00

they are so dumb these 2 ! heere’s the complete sequence :

  • Anna Powers

Correct Lisa. I stopped watching it a long time ago because of Simon’s comments, but did need to say something when I saw what those two morons did. Make sure they stay fired; hire only those who can offer constructive criticism. Not judges who think they are better than the performer. Never heard of those 2 bozos but judging from what they had to say I didn’t miss out on anything. Did she ever look in the mirror. Yuck!

  • Kaitlyn

Cruelty is what grew that industry. The girl has a reputation of being cruel in previous shows. So they knew exactly what they hired and “Hired to Be Cruel” is accurate. The problem is that the network didn’t expect it at this level.

  • Elphie-chan

Wow both of them are A@#holes. Kiss your careers goodbye!!!

  • Emily

Natalia Kills was one of the main judges as well not just a guest judge… NZ are pretty short on musicians who actually want to be judges… Most of our musicians think X factor is too mainstream for them (and I don’t really blame them!)

  • mandyz

Natalia can be as much of a try hard as she wants to be considered A-list in the music industry, but this is the nail in the coffin for her career. The highlight of her career was being the opening act for Katy Perry of all people, her ego just got a reality check for being the joke that she is.

  • Eliza Mitchell

You are probably the stupidest person, trying to defend them. Let me see how you feel when someone is trying to rip you apart for no reason. Get some compassion you idiotic woman!

  • Маргарита Бабовникова

I’m sure your brain stop read my text after seventh word.

  • Маргарита Бабовникова

    no, she’s wrong.

  • Маргарита Бабовникова

    No so good as what?
Show me your russian — I will rate you.

  • Маргарита Бабовникова

    No, you saw their speech.

  • HH

This is not right for any reason and it is COMPLETELY indefensible. The fact you are kissing their ass and trying to make it right shows that you are someone that does not understand the basic differences between critique and just plain nasty.

  • kate

Dora the Explorer much? and you talk about ‘originality’

  • Guest

    shes not even Kiwi

  • Маргарита Бабовникова

You want to be good and wear beautiful society accepted mask in public (call yourself feminist is very trendy now), but in your first comment instead of discussing her personality your aimed to her poor appearance. Her make up have nothing to do with her speech but it’s the only thing you chosed as argument. To become a feminist take a lot of mind work.

  • kate

and she wasn’t a guest judge, she along with her husband were actual judges

  • shaun jones

vile disgusting people no wonder noone has ever heard of them, they are just another of those wannabe copy cat z-list celebs that copy anything they think its cool from others then shit on those that do the same

  • Mirela Muhić

Sometimes it happens that contestants in this type of shows, don’t have much originality and try to copy someone. I didn’t watch this dude performing, but if that was the case, there are a lot of constructive ways of saying it, you don’t have to be an evil, rude bitch. It seems like they are so in love with themselves that they think no one should even have the right to try to do something that they do, even if it just means wearing a suit. When did a suit become a trademark and open for copying? Like her husband is so original, he looks like every man in every show ever. Their goal was to humiliate this poor guy, who showed by far better manners than them, although they are the “celebrities”
