Paul Walker Jokes Cut From Justin Bieber's Roast

Justin Bieber‘s Comedy Central roast will not include any of the numerous Paul Walker jokes that were made during the taping.

“Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full rein to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show. Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast,” a spokesperson for Comedy Central told THR.

Lucadris, who starred with Paul in the Fast & Furious franchise, was in attendance at the roast and reportedly got very upset by some of the jokes that were made.

“I didn’t particularly like the Paul Walker jokes,” Justin himself even said.

The Justin Bieber roast will air on Mach 30 on Comedy Central.

And why exactly was Paul Walker’s name being used to begin with? Classless and inconsiderate on their part to even use it as material for the roast.

  • smmy33

My thoughts exactly what does Paul Walker have to do with this roast , there no reason good or bad from his name to have been mentioned by the the roasters.

Glad the network cut the jokes.

I think its ridiculous that the jokes were cut from the roast. Paul Walker is no different just because he is dead not to mention him at the roast. These roasts are lame anyways now with half to 3 quarters of the people are not comedians having there jokes wrote by someone else.

  • RayonLight

They where not related, friends, or even acquaintances. So his name shouldn’t have been brought up, plain and simple.

Do you watch roasts Rayon Light or are you just offended that it was Paul Walker. Luda was there who worked with Paul Walker on the Fast movies. At a Roast not just Justin was the target. Anybody participating in the Roast is a target too.

  • RayonLight

Luda is one thing, Paul is another, who is actually deceased and not participating?! Have you even read the jokes that where made, they where tasteless and insensitive.

Jeff Ross made a reference to the “Move Bitch” song by Ludacris, who also participated in the roast, by saying, ” ‘Move bitch, get out of the way’ is what Paul Walker should’ve told that tree. Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?”

Roaster Pete Davidson of Saturday Night Live also referenced Bieber’s arrest for drag racing over the past year, by saying, “unfortunately, it wasn’t with Paul Walker.” When the audience expressed its disapproval, Davidson replied by saying, “What? He’s doing great! He’s got a movie coming out!”

Yes I read the comments but again I don’t think you ever watched Roasts. Comedians right or wrong go after whoever is on the stage and there is usually friends and people they know involved. Tasteless and offensive- I heard worst.

We deffer in opinion, and me watching roasts doesn’t change my mind. The same would be said if the 9/11 attacks became the butt of jokes. It’s simply not ok to use other people’s tragedies for comedy purposes. There are people struggling with his loss.

Ill agree to disagree because comedians bring laughter even to times of pain. Yes it might be offensive to some but not offensive to all.
