Dita Von Teese Performs In Huge Birdcage at W Beijing Celebration

Dita Von Teese is beautiful in blue while celebrating the opening of W Beijing-Chang’an at the W Hotel’s Rock the Empire event on Thursday (March 19) in San Francisco, Calif.

During the celebration, the 42-year-old burlesque dancer was seen performing in an oversized, voyeuristic birdcage, which was symbolic of China’s love for bird keeping.

“Tonight I was excited to have Gypsy Rose Lee’s son in the audience @WHotels. What wonderful secret stories he’s told me about his mother!” Dita wrote on Twitter after the celebration.

FYI: Dita is wearing a Jenny Packham gown, Christian Louboutin heels, and a Swarovski hand bag at the event and wore Mr. Pearl for her show costume.
