    Orlando Bloom raises Ebola awareness.

Translation: Orlando Bloom is promoting a new movie. That’s right. I just checked on a hunch. This crap has become utterly predictable.

And don’t worry about Ebola. It never had any chance to become a pandemic in America or ANY developed country. It’s been fear mongered from day one in order to drive more hypochondriacs to the hospital, sell more unnecessary testing and treatment, drive up stock values and commercial ad space and to secure tens of millions in government funding and contracts. Just like bird flu, swine flu, and every other ‘it’ disease to be hyped up over the last 10 years.

It’s been an issue in Liberia but the threat has been exaggerated there as well. I’m all for helping them out to the extent necessary but only for the good of the people. Not for the obscene profits of drug companies, rich investors or the free publicity for multi-millionaire actors with new movies to promote. Like i said, the timing of their ‘good will’ has become utterly predictable.

Haters gonna hate hate hate! Orlando has been working with UNICEF for many years now, he doesn’t do it for the publicity, he’s actually a good guy who cares about other people, so spread your hate somewhere else, haters.

The answer is no. I’m telling it like it is. Not like Bloom wants his idiot fans to believe. Like all big celebrities, Orlando Bloom uses charity to promote himself and on occasion, other individuals or entities within the ‘for profit’ umbrella who also have new movies, DVDs, TV shows, Broadway shows, albums, tours, ect to promote. The timing of their ‘good will’ has become utterly predictable. It always coincides with a ‘for profit’ promotion. This time it’s a new movie. The last time, it was a new movie and the time before that it was a new movie. There was also a Broadway promotion as I recall. Like I said, the timing has become utterly predictable.

Show me a celebrity who supports independently well rated charities with no regard for commercial timing while keeping their own concentration of wealth and life sustaining resources (money and energy in particular) in some sort of reasonable check and I’ll show you a celebrity who may truly care about the less fortunate. This includes the sick. After all, healthcare and the necessary infrastructure have become very expensive. The cost is often the single greatest obstacle to overcome. It’s damn true in Liberia.

If you don’t understand the economic link I’m getting at, then you are a very small thinker.
