Idris Elba is in Talks to Play the Villain in 'Star Trek 3'

Idris Elba may be heading over to the dark side soon!

According to Variety, the 42-year-old actor is in negotiations to star as the villain in the upcoming Star Trek 3 film.

While specific details about his role are being kept secret, there have been rumors that the Klingons would be the main villains in this movie. That has yet to be confirmed though.

Meanwhile, stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, and Anton Yelchin are all expected to reprise their roles.

Production is set to begin in June.
