Coach is back!

According to TVLine.com, NBC has tapped Craig T. Nelson to reprise his famous role in an upcoming 13-episode revival of the 90s sitcom.

The series will “pick up 18 years later and find his character Hayden Fox interrupting his retirement to become assistant coach to his own grown son, who is the new head coach at an Ivy League school in Pennsylvania that is just starting up a new team.”

Coach originally aired on ABC from 1989-1997. Creator Barry Kemp will write and executive produce along with Craig himself, who recently wrapped up a six-year run on Parenthood.
