Gigi Hadid: It's Not Okay to Model Until You're 25 & Then Become a Housewife

Gigi Hadid gets her closeup on the cover of Adweek‘s latest issue.

Here’s what the 19-year-old model had to share with the mag:

On life after modeling: “What people want to know is, OK, what’s after modeling? And that’s forcing us to think about those things [even earlier]. It’s not just OK anymore to model until you’re 25 and then stop and be a housewife.”

On social media: “I think it’s always come naturally to just be genuine on social media and to put things into words that people can relate to, rather than putting things in a way that makes them feel that they can’t be a part of it.”

It’s NEVER okay to be a housewife!!!! Every woman should live a useful life, not as an “unpaid servant” who works ten times more than her husband at home instead of him but for free (which so many housewives are so much proud of and happy about, unfortunately, it’s sad and pathetic).

Who is this lady? I never heard of her before I mean I had read her name beacuse she is like the Katrashians in every entertainment online website possible and people pay a lot of attention to her and she hangs out with all tinsel town now attendign many hollywood parties, but she aint Naomi Campbell or Linda Evangelista for what is worth. Who is she and why she is everywhere now like this Cara Delevigne chick.

Your career will be dried up once you hit 25 and the “Instagirl” trend is no longer relevant.

You’re right. This woman (along with the Jenner girl, Delevigne, etc) are part of a TREND the fashion industry has dubbed “Instagirl.” Basically, they get modeling jobs because they’re popular, famous and have millions of followers on social media. Their original claim to fame is being, “socialites.”
