So sorry for your loss Julian. You were a very good and caring son to her.

She conducted her life with such dignity in spite of John’s (and Yoko’s) cruelty. And in spite of Yoko Ono’s attempts to erase her and Julian from John’s life through editing them out of films, the play and more. She raised a beautiful, talented and caring son on her own. That is her legacy as well as the love she shared with her family, friends and fans.

John is adored and worshiped in many ways but he didn’t treat Cynthia or Julian very well and that’s verifiable fact. Even after his “kinder-gentler” bread baking transformation a few years before he was murdered, he still didn’t do much to mitigate the hurt and pain he leveled on these two. I won’t judge John or Yoko and feel they were better suited and would probably still be together but, that doesn’t mean I condone how cold-hearted they both were and selfish when it came to Cynthia and Julian.
