Gisele Bundchen Reveals Why She's Retiring from Runways

Gisele Bundchen surprised us all recently when news broke that she will be retiring from runway modeling and now she is speaking out to reveal why she’s doing so.

“Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop,” the 34-year-old model told Folha de Sao Paulo (via Yahoo). “I respect my body, it’s a privilege to be able to stop.”

“I don’t see how to continue (modeling on the catwalk) … and stopping will leave room for other projects I have for myself,” she continued.

Gisele will walk her final catwalk next week during Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
