Former NFL Player Aaron Hernandez Found Guilty of First Degree Murder
UPDATE: Aaron Hernandez has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Aaron Hernandez, a former football player for the New England Patriots, has been found guilty of first degree murder of Odin Lloyd, the boyfriend of his fiancée’s sister.
The trial spanned two months and saw 135 witnesses. Aaron, 25, was also found guilty of illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
Aaron had a $40 million contract with the Patriots when he was arrested in June of 2013 for the murder of Odin, a semi-pro football player.
According to CBS News, Aaron appeared to be mouthing “you’re wrong” when the verdict was read. He is facing life in prison without parole.
