Bruce Jenner Feels 'Relieved' After His Diane Sawyer Interview

Bruce Jenner‘s brave interview about his decision to transition aired earlier in the week and now sources are revealing how he is doing following the televised event.

Bruce seems very relieved that the interview finally aired,” a source told People about the aftermath of his brave interview. “He is overwhelmed by all the positive comments on social media following the interview.”

Another source said the 65-year-old reality star “feels very good” to “help other people in his shoes. He also seems very happy that he is moving forward with his transition…[he] seems more comfortable with his new life. He leaves his house wearing lip gloss and nail polish. He seems more confident, relaxed and definitely more happy.”

“He’s so relieved,” the source added. “Like a big weight is off of his shoulders. The whole family is relieved too.”

Sorry but I have a strong feelings that this is just a PUBLICITY STUNT. I did not watch the interview because I don’t want to bite into their bait. I have seen people who are really serious about their transgender decision and the agonizing journey to embark into this decision and Bruce in all of his scenes in the reality show NEVER SHOWED ANY SIGN THAT HE WAS CONFLICTED ABOUT HIS SEXUAL ISSUES. On the other hand I felt that it bastardized the experience of REAL TRANSGENDER people and what they had gone through. like Chaz Bono did.

  • Victor Atomic

I had the same doubts about what was happening. But the interview was open and honest. This is no way a stunt and is going to be a huge step for people who are transgender and a major step in properly informing those who just think this whole thing is weird. I recommend you watch it. :)

@Loyal, how can you offer a valid opinion when you didn’t even watch the interview? It was incredible! It very clearly documented his life long journey, most of which has been hell since he felt he couldn’t truly come out and be himself. I agree with Victor Atomic, you should open your mind and watch… THEN comment, because I almost guarantee it will change your mind and your view of this having been any sort of ‘publicity stunt’.

Sorry but watching it is a bait in itself. This is a very REAL sensitive issues and I don’t think most transgender are approving of this. And most of them like to deal with this privately. And I totally support that. And because of that I will not coat tail with the Bruce Jenner exploited and very public sex change decision “support” group because I have respect for people who are truly truly have agonized over this decision and want to keep their transgender process private.
