Daniel Bruhl Confirms His Role in 'Captain America: Civil War'

Daniel Bruhl has just confirmed some exciting news – he will be playing Baron Helmut Zero in the upcoming movie Captain America: Civil War!

The 36-year-old Spanish actor confirmed the news in an interview with The Independent.

“I think I can tell you that without being thrown into Marvel prison…” Daniel said.

He joins a cast that already includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, and Chadwick Boseman‘s introduction as Black Panther.

“The son of a HYDRA scientist, Helmut Zemo tried to avenge his father’s death and ended up spiraling down into a vat of the impossible-to-break bonding substance Adhesive X—which disfigured him permanently,” according to Entertainment Weekly. “The character is recognizable for his distinctive purple mask, and is known for creating a new incarnation of the Masters of Evil, a counterweight to the Avengers that united high-profile villains.”

As Katja said. He’s more of a German actor. Or call him a Spanish-German actor if you really have to.

Why is it so unPC to be German? It’s been over 60 years, people. I’ve noticed some actors starting to dilute their German ancestry by emphasizing minute none German roots.
