Kathie Lee Gifford Was 'Shocked' by Bruce Jenner's Transition

Kathie Lee Gifford is opening up for the first time on her reaction to friend Bruce Jenner‘s revelation that he will transition into a woman.

“I never saw this coming,” the talk show host said on The Today Show on Monday morning (April 27). She added that she was “shocked by the news.”

Kathie Lee is very good friends with Kris Jenner and she is the godmother of Kendall and Kylie.

“We all want to know how to go forward. We all want to love him through this and we also know there are children who … have to learn how to deal with this,” Kathie added. “If you can imagine the surprise … How do you deal with that? The way you do, ultimately, is when you put love first and try to put yourself in someone else’s high heels, I suppose. Louboutins, in their case.”
