'Fifty Shades of Grey' Sequel Will Be 'More of a Thriller'
Universal Pictures chairman Donna Langley is speaking about the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel Fifty Shades Darker!
The exec told THR that the sequel will be “more of a thriller” and that new screenwriter Niall Leonard is no stranger to the series. “He actually did a draft that wasn’t credited on the first movie, and he did a really good job,” she said.
“For the record, the movie we ended up making is exactly the movie I wanted to make and that the studio wanted to make and that our director wanted to make,” Donna said.
Fifty Shades Darker will hit theaters in February, 2017.
