Kate Middleton Gives Birth to Royal Baby Girl!
Kate Middleton (aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge) has given birth to her second child with her husband Prince William!
The 33-year-old royal welcomed a baby girl on Saturday (May 2) in the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in London, England. No name has been given yet.
“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am. The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth,” the official statement from Kensington Palace read. “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry & members of both families have been informed. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
The baby’s birth came just three days after Will and Kate‘s fourth wedding anniversary, so there will definitely be lots of celebration around this date in years to come.
This is the second child for the royal couple. They are the parents of a 21-month-old baby boy named Prince George.
Congratulations to the happy family on the exciting news. Stay tuned for all the coverage of the royal family leaving the hospital and take a look back at the photos from George‘s arrival.
