Taylor Swift‘s 1989 World Tour began TODAY (May 5) in Tokyo, Japan and fans can’t stop talking about her amazing set list from the show!

The 25-year-old entertainer (seen in some photos from the show below) sang a medley of her hits from 1989 and her earlier albums as well.

Prior to the first concert, there had been a ton of fan speculation as to which songs Taylor would sing on her tour, so we’re glad it’s now official! Of course, the set list is subject to change!

Taylor returns to the States on May 20 for a round of shows in the country before heading back out for some more international stops in June.

wish she would learn how to dance

  • yAoul

It’s not a world tour when you only perform in Tokyo, Uk, some chosen cities in Europe and in the USA and then Australia! I mean , what about the rest of the world: or maybe the third world isn’t good enough for her??!!! WHAT about South America, Africa, Asia ect…. It’s her 4th tour and she never went to places there!!! I don’t know how she can have fans there who still expect her to come…And yeah she should learn not only to dance but to sing too!!!

  • Mads_22

I heard she’s not a great live performer. She puts on a show with production. But in terms of her singing it’s usually hit or miss. So those countries probably aren’t missing much.

In smaller countries bringing an artist like Taylor Swift might result in very expensive concert tickets that´s why she probably wont go there.

I’m not talking about smaller countries… I’m talking about countries like Bresil, Argentina, Thailand, China, Mexico , South Africa, Turkey ect…: those countries aren’t small countries… she doesn’t want to go there that’s all cause tbh she only goes where she can makes “more money”, in USA because it’s where she’s most big and Europe especially UK cause she is so attracted by them (places and people from there lmao) and adds few dates in Europe and Japan, and target Australia to say “world tour”!! It’s a shame, cause after 4 so called world tour i thought she would go on more countries! But she doesn’t make any move for her fans in the “third world” , More bigger artists did real world tour, people went to their show, who is she to make a difference? She isn’t concerned about other countries that’s all: most of them aren’t “rich countries”, this just define her!! so she should not calls her tour a world tour

wish she would learn how to sing

    lol! exactly!

  • Max

She’s not that good live! #sorrynotsorry

  • JD15222

Well…the point of touring and doing shows is to make money. I don’t blame her for going where the money is.

  • JD15222

That’s funny, her 13,500 reviews of her live shows on Ticketmaster suggest otherwise.

  • Max

Did you ever think that those 13,500 reviews were written by her fans and her fans are gonna support her no matter what!! The show might be great, but everybody knows her singing skills are terrible!!

  • JD15222

I guess to each his own and we all hear things differently. I just looked at some YouTube vids and her vocals are stronger live than they are on the record. By the way I’m not really what I’d consider a big fan but I do give credit where it’s due.

  • Max

I respect your opinion but I don’t agree with it!!

3rd world countries can’t afford clean water. How do you expect them to afford Taylor Swift tickets.
