CW Greenlights Julie Plec's 'Cordon' & Arrow/Flash Spinoff 'DC's Legends Of Tomorrow' For Upcoming Season

The CW just announced three new shows you’ll be seeing on the network for the upcoming 2015-2016 season.

THR reports that the CW has picked up Julie Plec‘s Cordon adaption and the Arrow/Flash spinoff, titled DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, PLUS Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Cordon (from a Belgian series), centers on what happens when a deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta and a large city quarantine is quickly enforced, leaving those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives. It tells the story of loved ones tragically torn apart, and how the society that grows inside the cordon reveals both the devolution of humanity and the birth of unlikely heroes.

Here’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow official summary: “When heroes alone are not enough … the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?”
